He who offered prayer over the dead, but did not follow the bier, for him is the reward of one qirat, and he who followed it, for him is the reward of two qirats. It was asked what the qirats were. He said: The smaller amongst the two is equivalent to Uhud.

Fasting is a shield.

Abu Huraira reported that among two women of the tribe of Hudhail one flung a stone upon the other causing an abortion to her so Allah's Apostle (may peace he upon him) gave judgment that a male or a female slave of best quality be given as compensation.

Sahih Muslim 1891 a
It has been narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger Allah (may peace be upon him) said:
A disbeliever and a believer who killed him will never be gathered together in Hell.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، وَقُتَيْبَةُ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، - يَعْنُونَ
ابْنَ جَعْفَرٍ - عَنِ الْعَلاَءِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" لاَ يَجْتَمِعُ كَافِرٌ وَقَاتِلُهُ فِي النَّارِ أَبَدًا " .

وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ - عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ،
حَدَّثَنِي يُونُسُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، قَالَ تَفَرَّجَ النَّاسُ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، فَقَالَ
لَهُ نَاتِلُ الشَّامِ وَاقْتَصَّ الْحَدِيثَ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ خَالِدِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ .

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying:
The eating of all fanged beasts of prey is unlawful.
وَحَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ مَهْدِيٍّ - عَنْ مَالِكٍ،
عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي حَكِيمٍ، عَنْ عَبِيدَةَ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله
عليه وسلم قَالَ
" كُلُّ ذِي نَابٍ مِنَ السِّبَاعِ فَأَكْلُهُ حَرَامٌ " .

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) having said:
Wine is prepared from the (fruit) of these two trees-date-palm and vine.

" الْخَمْرُ مِنْ هَاتَيْنِ الشَّجَرَتَيْنِ النَّخْلَةِ وَالْعِنَبَةِ " .

Sahih Muslim 1993 b
Abu Huraira reported that Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) forbade (the preparation of Nabidh) in varnished jar, pitcher besmeared with green pitch and hollow stump. It was said to Abu Huraira:
What that Hantama was? He said: It is green pitcher (besmeared with pitch).
حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ، عَنْ سُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي،
هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّهُ نَهَى عَنِ الْمُزَفَّتِ وَالْحَنْتَمِ وَالنَّقِيرِ . قَالَ قِيلَ
لأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ مَا الْحَنْتَمُ قَالَ الْجِرَارُ الْخُضْرُ .

Abu Huraira reported that Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) said to the group of Abd al-Qais:
I forbid you (to prepare Nabidh) in gourd. and green pitcher, hollow stump and varnished jar and the waterskin having its upper end cut, but (prepare it) in your small waterskin, and tie its mouth
حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا نُوحُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ،
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ لِوَفْدِ عَبْدِ الْقَيْسِ
" أَنْهَاكُمْ عَنِ الدُّبَّاءِ
وَالْحَنْتَمِ وَالنَّقِيرِ وَالْمُقَيَّرِ - وَالْحَنْتَمُ الْمَزَادَةُ الْمَجْبُوبَةُ - وَلَكِنِ اشْرَبْ فِي سِقَائِكَ وَأَوْكِهِ
" .

When any one of you eats food he should lick his fingers, for he does not know in what part of the food sticking to his fingers the blessing lies.

" إِذَا أَكَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَلْعَقْ أَصَابِعَهُ فَإِنَّهُ
لاَ يَدْرِي فِي أَيَّتِهِنَّ الْبَرَكَةُ " .

Food for two persons suffices three persons and food for three persons suffices four persons.

" طَعَامُ الاِثْنَيْنِ كَافِي الثَّلاَثَةِ
وَطَعَامُ الثَّلاَثَةِ كَافِي الأَرْبَعَةِ " .
