باب من لا تحل له المسألة ومن تحل له - الفصل الثالث
Mishkat al-Masabih 1857
Thauban reported God’s messenger as saying,
"If anyone guarantees me that he will not beg from people, I will guarantee him paradise.”
Thauban said that he would, and he never asked anyone for anything.
Abu Dawud and Nasa'i transmitted it.
وَعَنْ ثَوْبَانَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ يَكْفُلُ لِي أَنْ لَا يَسْأَلَ النَّاسَ شَيْئًا فَأَتَكَفَّلَ لَهُ بِالْجَنَّةِ؟» فَقَالَ ثَوْبَانُ: أَنَا فَكَانَ لَا يَسْأَلُ أَحَدًا شَيْئا. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد وَالنَّسَائِيّ
