باب من لا تحل له المسألة ومن تحل له - الفصل الأول
Mishkat al-Masabih 1843
Ibn ‘Umar reported that God’s messenger said when he was on the pulpit speaking of sadaqa and abstention from begging,
“The upper hand is better than the lower one, the upper being the one which bestows and the lower the one which begs.”
(Bukhari and Muslim.)
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ وَهُوَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ وَهُوَ يَذْكُرُ الصَّدَقَةَ وَالتَّعَفُّفَ عَنِ الْمَسْأَلَةِ: «الْيَدُ الْعُلْيَا خَيْرٌ مِنَ الْيَدِ السُّفْلَى وَالْيَد الْعليا هِيَ المنفقة وَالْيَد السُّفْلى هِيَ السائلة»
