Bulugh al-Maram 88
Narrated Anas (rad):
The Prophet (ﷺ) on entering the lavatory used to say:
[Allahumma inni a’udhu bika minal khubthi wal khaba’ithi]
“O Allah, I seek refuge with You from devils – males and females (or all offensive and wicked things, evil deeds and evil spirits, etc.)” [Reported by As-Sab’a]
وَعَنْهُ قَالَ: { كَانَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -إِذَا دَخَلَ اَلْخَلَاءَ قَالَ:
"اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ اَلْخُبُثِ وَالْخَبَائِثِ" } أَخْرَجَهُ اَلسَّبْعَة ُ 1 .
