He also reported from Abu Hurairah (RA):
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "No one should announce Adhan except the one who has performed the ablution".
[Reported by at-Tirmidhi who graded it Da'if (weak)].
So the narration is weak whether Marfu' [reaching back to the Prophet (ﷺ)] or Mawquf (saying of a Companion).
وَلَهُ : عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ - رضى الله عنه - أَنَّ اَلنَّبِيَّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -قَالَ : { لَا يُؤَذِّنُ إِلَّا مُتَوَضِّئٌ } وَضَعَّفَهُ أَيْضًا 1 .
فَالْحَدِيثُ ضَعِيفٌ مَرْفُوعًا وَمَوْقُوفًا .
فَالْحَدِيثُ ضَعِيفٌ مَرْفُوعًا وَمَوْقُوفًا .
1 - ضعيف . رواه الترمذي (200) وضعفه بالانقطاع بين الزهري وبين أبي هريرة . قلت : ورواه أيضا (201) موقوفا على أبي هريرة - ولا يصح أيضا - بلفظ : "لا ينادي بالصلاة إلا متوضئ ".
