It is also reported in as-Sahih on the authority of Mu'aiqib without mention of the reason.

وَفِي "اَلصَّحِيحِ" عَنْ مُعَيْقِيبٍ نَحْوُهُ بِغَيْرِ تَعْلِيلٍ.‏ ¹‏

^‏1 ‏- صحيح .‏ رواه البخاري (1207)‏ ، ومسلم (546)‏ ولفظه : " إن كنت فاعلا فواحدة".‏
