Chapter: Women Going Out To The Masjid So Long As No Fitnah Results From That; and They Should Not Go Out Wearing Perfume

باب خُرُوجِ النِّسَاءِ إِلَى الْمَسَاجِدِ إِذَا لَمْ يَتَرَتَّبْ عَلَيْهِ فِتْنَةٌ وَأَنَّهَا لاَ تَخْرُجُ مُطَيَّبَةً
Sahih Muslim 442 a
Salim narrated it from his father ('Abdullah b. Umar) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
When women ask permission for going to the mosque, do not prevent them.
حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ، وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، جَمِيعًا عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، - قَالَ زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، - عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، سَمِعَ سَالِمًا، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ، يَبْلُغُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" إِذَا اسْتَأْذَنَتْ أَحَدَكُمُ امْرَأَتُهُ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ فَلاَ يَمْنَعْهَا " .
